Saarbrücken Launches Agile Community

We had the first ever Agile Meetup in Saarbrücken last Friday which was an exciting point for the company. The choice of venue was perfect because we had great weather and the beer garden we planned for turned out amazing.

The offbeat ice breaker we did at first involved drawing the person sitting opposite to us with our nondominant hand. The experience of drawing with our opposite hand made it easier for us to start interacting through laughter stepping out of what we are accustomed to. We then went ahead and got introduced to our partners where they told us their names, the positions they occupy at work and what they are passionate about among other things. It was a great way that inspired some conversations leading to new relationships.

Having cold drinks in hand, the remaining part of the night was taken up with networking. We shared experiences on Agile practices conversing about the challenges and triumphs in an informal and friendly atmosphere which had a sense of camaraderie that was deeply felt through the palpable enthusiasm and energy. The first Agile Meetup in Saarbrücken was more than just a gathering; it was the start of a thriving community.
